Advanced Bio-Structural Correction (ABC)

client-adjustment-facing-down

Advanced Bio-Structural Correction (ABC) is a modern approach to chiropractic care developed by Dr Jesse Jutkowitz.

ABC focuses on helping the body’s joints work together smoothly, from the top of the head to the tips of the toes.

How does ABC work?

ABC is based on the understanding that the body has a natural ability to adapt and correct itself. However, some structural restrictions may prevent the body from making these changes on its own.

The aim of ABC is to identify and address these restrictions, allowing the body to do the rest of the work naturally.

ABC also places particular emphasis on the spinal meninges—the protective membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord. The technique proposes that restrictions in these tissues may affect spinal function, and that addressing them may help improve movement and nervous system function.

A whole-body approach

ABC looks at the body as an interconnected system rather than treating individual joints in isolation. By helping improve the relationship between different parts of the body, ABC aims to support smoother movement and better overall function.

Endonasal

Endonasal is a gentle technique that involves carefully working inside the nasal passages. It is based on the idea that the tissues within the nose and the surrounding structures may influence the movement and function of the head and spine.

The technique aims to address restrictions in these tissues and support more balanced movement throughout the body. It may be used as part of an ABC-based approach when considered appropriate.

At Village Chiropractic, we take the time to understand each person’s needs and explain how different chiropractic approaches may be relevant to their care.
